KMC 2008 Road Captains |
| KMC Road captains are expected to be ambassadors of good will for KMC and HOG. They must pass an experienced rider course, including high speed agility courses such as Black Hawk in Northern Illinois, numerous first aid courses including accident scene management, trauma and CPR. Beyond that, they must attend every road captains meeting unless excused by the head road captain. They try to be at most events, paying the same price as anyone else. But instead of kicking back and enjoying the event, they're working! They assist on all organized rides, organize and manage Colorama, work Hal's Bike Show, and set up and manage the KMC State Wide Ride & Raffle Run, which is a tremendous year-long project. If you ever need help in any form or fashion, just ask a Road Captain and he or she will assist you. |
